A Memorial for Dru Richman

Dru_Richman

It is with sadness that I share with you that long time member and ACD leader, Dru Richman, passed away January 28th, at the age of 68. I believe it was the result of a very serious car accident while he was driving for Uber over New Years.

Dru was a long time member of The Apple Corps of Dallas, joining us in December 1991. This was back in the InfoMart days that some of you may still remember. He was quite a contributor to ACD for many years and here are some of those positions he held:

Board Member (2010-2011)
Election Committee Chairman (2007)
Program Director (2006-2008)
Board Member (2006-2007)
President (2001-2002)
Mac Help SIG Leader (1996-2015)
Mac Beginners SIG Leader (1996-2015)

Dru was a Apple Consultant professionally through his Mac Help Desk business. But I will remember him most from his LoveSong band where he was the keyboardist. You can read more about his professional endeavors on LinkedIn at:
