Onyx:
Had before you download run a free Mac speed scan. This was what dad called a come on. Scan is free, takes a lot of time, then you register and buy with money to amortize that time; your spotlight index gets blown away and you must reindex.Onyx said my disk needed repair and to start up with command R. Cocoa and objective C: up and running, a $17 iBook I can open in free Calibre on mac to copy and paste Xcode example code.
You start reading and they offer a $6 forever upgrade with multiple formats, bit I didn’t buy in, I gain rather than lose in translation. They deal with the old Xcode that has slightly different access to things.
A happy…[Read more]

I continue reading this book, pasting from Calibre.
I am now reading chapter 4 on object oriented programming; I am not jumping to chapter 7 thinking I know it all. at worst, I’ll see how the author teaches to build foundations. I reviewed c and saw how structs led to formalization in object code so I could be a CEO rather than drown in details.…[Read more]

I am studying aspects of motivating learning, both for my mom which is vital to her living and with a young lady in piano lessons who might otherwise get discouraged being formally trained.
I like a neuroscientist of music learning theory who invented the term “audiation”. It is sort of like understanding and learning to think for yourself in…[Read more]

The Parrot AR Drone, is a great fun toy. Yes it’s a little expensive for a toy, but dang it’s fun. If you’ve always wanted to get into RC type craft, this would be a great entry. You can control it with your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. I’ve had it now for several weeks and have had tons of fun. The battery lasts for about 15 minutes…[Read more]

Samsung Bluetooth Stereo headset WEP 870 I picked this up a few weeks ago and have been traveling with it. So far I’ve been very impressed with the music playback and functionality of the headset. It’s kind of neat, it has a normal looking bluetooth ear piece for use when making calls. But then you can attach it to an in the ear stereo…[Read more]
